Girl
Scout Troop 1728 Thanks Maryland Sled Dog Adventures
Contrary to popular opinion, the best reward for
running dog sledding programs is not scooping poop
and getting up early in the morning, but rather the
look on the kids faces after getting a chance to meet
the dogs and go dryland dog sledding. Sometimes, we
get an email from one of the leaders or parents indicating
how much the kids enjoyed the opportunity. It is nice
to hear how the program went.
This year, the girls of Troop 1728 created some of
the most thoughtful and creative thank you cards as
a memento of the experience. As we opened the package
and went through the cards, we were truly touched.
